Initiatives in schools

The Group has long taken care of the growth of the new generations through actions and projects aimed at strengthening the alliance between the corporate world and schools and offering orientation opportunities for students. In this context, the Poste Italiane Group promotes initiatives in schools, also through the active involvement of business professionals. The actions implemented in the year 2025 were:
y
“Next Generation” programme for school orientation and the development of soft skills for young people from vulnerable social backgrounds, consisted of the following activities: “Pathways for Transversal Skills and Career Guidance” (PCTO), involving students from classes IV and V of secondary schools; workshops to develop transversal skills in creative writing with the aim of offering young people useful tools to reflect on the value of words and their communicative power; and “Residential Creathon”, where participants worked in teams to foster the development of innovative solutions in response to the challenge identified by the company. In particular, in the 2025 edition, during the “Residential Creathon”, the youngsters were challenged on the topic of bullying. Through the use of different expressive techniques learnt, the participants produced three distinct projects - comics, screenplay and animation - that highlighted an inclusive vision, capable of valuing diversity as a resource. The experience helped generate new perspectives, highlighting the value of collective growth, empathy and collaboration;
y
the two-year project “School4Life 2.0”, developed in synergy with other large companies, with the aim of helping combat school dropout by supporting educational quality through intervention plans by Company professionals as role models, mentors and masters of trades in secondary and high schools throughout Italy. At the end of the two-year project period, Poste Italiane collaborated with 11 schools (6 high schools and 5 middle schools), directly meeting over 1,100 students through 55 meetings led by role models, mentors and masters of trades, for a total of 110 hours of orientation. The programme represented an opportunity for intergenerational exchange between young people and business professionals through which company representatives could tell the young people about their experiences, building paths of sharing, integration and collaboration with people from different generations than their own.
In general terms, initiatives to support the younger generation, which also include initiatives for the children of Poste Italiane Group’s employees, saw 36 editions in the year 2025.
