Ethics and regulatory compliance in financial and insurance education

In the financial and insurance fields, in line with ESMA/IVASS regulations, training and professional development programmes were carried out with a specific focus on behavioural biases and their corrective mechanisms, insurance contracts, the insurance scenario - life and P&C market, and claims and complaints management in the insurance field. In December, the ESMA tests, indispensable for maintaining the qualification as consultants and for ISO 22222:2008 certification, for sales figures in the Post Office network channel were completed. To date, more than 11 thousand financial advisors have been certified in investment services.

In continuity with previous years, courses, webinars and workshops on economic-financial topics, such as the “Annual Review of Development and Training Needs (ESMA)”, prescribed by the regulations, and the “Insurance Skills Mapping (IVASS)”, were implemented.

In addition, in the area of banking transparency, courses were launched with a specific focus on Transparency and Refinancing Documents and Master Data for BancoPosta Loans.
