Valori Ritrovati

Valori Ritrovati

Valori Ritrovati is the Poste Italiane Group’s circular economy project that aims to give a new life to “anonymous parcels” and “abandoned parcels”: all parcels that cannot be delivered to the recipient or returned to the sender and would otherwise be sent for disposal. Thanks to the collaboration with participating Third Sector bodies, these goods are instead used for solidarity purposes, helping to reduce waste and generate shared social value. In 2025, the project was renewed, improving operational management and strengthening procedures for collaboration and reporting on donations. In fact, a new agreement was signed with the Caritas Roma Foundation and two new organisations: Italian Red Cross and Civil Protection - Torre del Greco Section. In 2025 alone, more than 38 tonnes of goods that would otherwise have gone to waste were recovered thanks to these new agreements and more than 50 thousand goods have been reintroduced into the reuse circuit.
As part of the project, the Caritas Roma Foundation with the contribution of Poste Group’s volunteers set up the Mercatini della Solidarietà (Solidarity Markets) in order to sell the items donated through the Valori Ritrovati project. The Poste Italiane Group volunteers participated enthusiastically, devoting time and energy to the selection, cataloguing and selling of goods, contributing to the success of the initiative and raising significant resources to be allocated to projects against food poverty and to support the Empori della Solidarietà (Solidarity Stores).
The group is working to extend the initiative to other organisations, to reach more and more people and families in vulnerable situations.
