Spreading the culture of sustainability
In 2025, Poste Italiane held an in-depth course on the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) - a standard that requires companies to identify, prevent, mitigate and report on risks and negative impacts on human rights and the environment arising from their activities, both direct and indirect, with the aim of acquiring a clear and operational understanding of the standard, its strategic implications and the tools needed for an adequate compliance process.
Also in 2025, the course «E.S.G. sustainability in Purchasing», dedicated to the staff of the Procurement function of the Poste Italiane Group, was launched with the first module. The initiative aims to provide a regulatory and strategic framework on sustainability as applied to corporate procurement, to explore ESG criteria and how they are integrated into procurement processes, and to present operational tools useful for assessing and maintaining suppliers› sustainability requirements. The training thus contributes to the continuous improvement of the Group›s sustainable procurement practices and to the dissemination of a corporate culture oriented towards environmental and social responsibility, while ensuring that staff are constantly updated with respect to the changing regulatory framework and evolving standards.
