Poste Welcome Community Welfare Programme

In the city of Bologna, as part of the experimental community welfare programme called “Poste Welcome” for the activation of inclusive and innovative services aimed at employees, their families and local citizens, two new initiatives were implemented during the year, in collaboration with Italiacamp: the “CareLab Talk” and a “’Psychological Desk”, both held at the company’s headquarters. During the “CareLab Talk” the areas of caring for people with disabilities, serious illnesses and the elderly were explored in depth by qualified guests, in order to create awareness about the figure of the caregiver and how best to manage the role, between work and private life.
The second initiative offered employees and citizens of Bologna access to free psychological support to help them cope with complex moments in life, improve their knowledge and understanding of themselves and acquire strategies for change with a positive effect on their personal dimension. In particular, employees and citizens of Bologna were able to take advantage of up to three free sessions with qualified professionals, on predetermined days and at predetermined times, in addition to the possibility of continuing the course at a subsidised rate.
