FIA Road Safety Index

In 2025, the Poste Italiane Group achieved three stars, the highest level of accreditation, in the FIA Road Safety index, the international programme promoted by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) that allows companies to measure their commitment to road safety management and the impact on society of their mobility-related activities. With this recognition, the Poste Italiane Group’s one becomes the world’s first certified postal service. Through a methodology of analysis that looks at the totality of an organisation’s mobility-related activities, the Index enables companies to measure their Safety Footprint in the production chain, identifying areas for improvement and stimulating organisations towards a greater road safety culture, in line with the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, which call on organisations to integrate road safety into their sustainability strategies as a building block of their social impact.
